Hello, welcome to my personal photo blog....

I just jumped onboard with the Mirrorless technology!
An ILCE Sony A6000
The Sony E-mount kit lenses - 16-50mm f/3.5 and 55-210mm f/4.5
And I added the Sony E 30mm f/3.5 Macro lens.

I also have a Canon SX50HS.. for those Moon shots.. heh.

I started this blog to upload my own photos so that i could participate in other photo blogs to submit to. Nothing more, nothing less.

I just like taking photos of a lot of things I find interesting.. mostly flowers. I also have another blog "Phlower Power" to show off my flower photos.

Photo Blogs I submit to are in the side-box. I hope I have encouraged you to join in..

Enjoy.......... Ellen

The Round Robin Photo Challenge ~ Gates

The next Round Robin Photo Challenge is: Gates so be sure to check it out and visit all the other photographers that submitted to the subject.
For the challenge I've decided on some old photos from my archives, since we've been experiencing extreme weather for the most part of March. It's still Winter here.

This "gate" is loaded with Conch Shells from Nasau, Burmuda in 2003. You can click on the photo for a larger view.

The rest of the photos are from my ancient Canon 35mm film camera and were taken in England about 2001. They were scanned onto my computer in a time when monitors were smaller and these were 'big' back then. ;) So, what you see is the original size from my backup disk.
The first three are from Kenilworth Castle.

This one is a gate to public restrooms in Kings Lynn.

The Fllying Stag at Cambridge
